We have a company SMS alerts system running on FrontlineCloud with Twilio. This is maintained by the Kenya Country Lead, at present Pitkin.

We're using a private Twilio connection at the moment on the number:

The controls
- SPAM sends a message to all members of Whole Group (anyone who has JOINed): \o/Alert from ${sender_name}: ${message_text}
- JOIN adds the sender to Whole Group, & replies confirming
- JOINNBO adds the sender to the Nairobi Team, and the Whole Group, replies and confirms with Kenya Country Lead that someone new has signed up
- JOINUSA adds the sender to the US Team, and the Whole Group, replies and confirms with US Country Lead that someone new has signed up
- PING replies to your message to show you the system is alive and well
- REPORT sends a message to Alerts Admin group (LWH, SMM, AJP as at 28Feb2014) with message: From ${sender_name}: ${message_text}
The PING!
- CHECKNBO sends the message that was after the keyword to the Nairobi group, probably to get them to reply with SAWA as a form of check-in:
- SAWA replies to say thanks and send the NBO country lead the note to say that person has checked in
The group for the US team is not currently used by any alert or reply activity.
