Manage Custom Fields functionality allows you to determine the information requested for each contact in the contact records. This is viewable through the People section and by clicking on the manage custom fields button.

Name is where you will put the type of information that will be requested - this can be text based such as Sacco group name, city, date based - such as birthday, date of registration, or currency based to reveal financial statuses such as last monthly targets. You're able to adjust the default amount here too, the default is zero, but can be adjusted to whatever amount makes most sense for your organization.
